My Favorite Place by Daniel Melgoza

 My most favorite place ever is home.  Home is my favorite place because I get to spend time with my family every day. I also love home because I get to watch tv when ever I want and where I want.  My most favorite thing to do is at home is watch a movie as a family and I think that brings us closer together.  That is why home is my favorite place.

If your child got a 100% on an AR quiz this week,

15 Point Lunch Club

We had our 15 point Lunch Club today!  All students who have 15 (or more) AR points got to come and have lunch in the classroom today.  We had strawberries (thank you, America) and donuts!

I am so glad everyone is excited to learn about the Chumash!  I would like to share some information that might be interesting to you.  There are two websites that you could visit (ask your mom or dad BEFORE you get on the internet!).  Here is one: http://www.bigorrin.org/chumash_kids.htm
The other is the website for the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum (just type "SB Natural History Museum" into your search window and it should come up).

My  favorite  thing  to  do  at  school  is  read. Reading  is  fun  because  when  I  look  at  nonfiction  books  I   learn  new  facts. My  favorite  books  to  read  are  Dr.Seuss books  because  there  silly  and  they  have  rhymes.  My  favorite  book  that  Dr.Seuss  made  is  called  Green  Eggs  And  Ham.

Fridays

I like Fridays because you get to play Legos at Fun Friday or you could play other things.On Friday you get a Big 4. The thing that I like about Big 4 is that I'm on Multiplication problems!  On Friday we get some reading time so we could take quizzes.I have a bunch of points because I have about 40 or 41 points!On Fridays we have a spelling test.I like it because I'm on challenge words!
